Süd Beteiligungen and VR Equitypartner acquire majority stake in DEKOM Group

The private equity companies Süd Beteiligungen GmbH and VR Equitypartner GmbH jointly acquired a majority stake in DEKOM AG.
DEKOM AG, with more than 200 employees and over 6,000 customers, is a leading international provider of audiovisual conference and collaboration solutions with headquarters in Germany and locations in Switzerland, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium and the USA. The shared vision is to further expand DEKOM's leading role in the European market for audio and video technology, taking into account megatrends such as ESG and AI, and to develop new growth markets. The transaction is still subject to the approval of the antitrust authorities.

Süd Beteiligungen GmbH (SüdBG) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) and has been supporting medium-sized companies for more than 50 years with customized equity and equity-related solutions in the context of succession planning, growth financing and shareholder changes.
