About

Michael Mroczek regularly represents clients before arbitration tribunals and acts as arbitrator in ICC, SAC (Swiss Arbitration Center) and DIS (German Institution of Arbitration) arbitration proceedings. He also advises clients on international estate planning.

Michael Mroczek holds a law degree from the University of Basel and an LL.M. in U.S. Law from Temple University in Philadelphia. He is a licensed attorney in Switzerland and a notary public in the Canton of St. Gallen. He is also registered in the Register of EU Lawyers at the District Bar Council in Warsaw and admitted as a foreign lawyer in Japan.

Michael Mroczek is a partner at Nozomi Sogo, a medium-sized law firm in Tokyo, Japan. As former President of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Japan and since 2019 as President of the European Business Council (EBC) in Japan, he not only represents Swiss business interests, but also represents the European community of interest and promotes relations between the EU area and Japan. He also lectures International Arbitration at the University of Tokyo and at Temple University in Japan.
