Michael Weltert studied at the University of Zurich and graduated with a Master of Law in 2014. In 2015, he completed the CAS Forensics at the University of Lucerne. From 2016 to 2021, he worked as a public prosecutor in the Canton of St.Gallen. He also worked as an investigating judge in the military justice system with the rank of captain from 2016 to 2022.

Michael Weltert is a licensed lawyer in Switzerland and a notary public in the canton of St.Gallen. He advises and represents clients in particular in the areas of criminal law, road traffic law, tenancy law and employment law.
