Raphael Wyss advises and represents clients operating in regulated industries at the intersection of public and private law. He is an expert in public commercial law and has extensive and broad-ranging experience in regulatory, administrative law, and public law matters of all kinds as well as related commercial issues. Raphael Wyss supports clients across various sectors, such as life sciences, healthcare, foodstuffs and utility articles, banking and insurance, telecommunications, higher education and academia, as well as transportation and infrastructure.

In particular, Raphael Wyss specializes in all regulatory and commercial matters concerning pharmaceuticals and medical devices, including research and development, manufacturing, regulatory approval, permits, and marketing and distribution as well as reimbursement and other health insurance issues. He represents clients in regulatory proceedings before supervisory authorities and appellate bodies. In addition, he drafts and negotiates agreements for clients in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries.

Moreover, Raphael Wyss has a proven track record in handling complex administrative proceedings before the competent authorities and courts at both the federal and cantonal levels in a wide range of specialized fields of federal and cantonal administrative law.

Raphael Wyss has been a partner at Advoro since 2024. From 2016 to 2024, he worked as a senior associate, associate, legal employee, and trainee at Bär & Karrer AG in Zurich. He was on secondment in the legal department at CSL Vifor AG for several months in 2022. During his studies, he completed internships at Walder Wyss AG and VISCHER AG.

Raphael Wyss studied at the University of Zurich (BLaw, 2014; MLaw, 2015). He completed his education at the University of Chicago Law School with a Master of Laws (LL.M., 2022). He also obtained a CAS in Law & Management from the University of St. Gallen HSG (2020).

Raphael Wyss primarily works in German and English. He is registered with the Zurich Bar and is admitted to all courts in Switzerland.
