Dr. Simon Lang is an experienced lawyer and partner in Advoro's Corporate / M&A team in Zurich. He specializes in corporate law and transactions and has extensive expertise in M&A transactions, financings, commercial partnerships (JVs) as well as reorganization and restructuring projects.

After completing his studies at the University of Zurich in 2005, Simon Lang worked for renowned law firms in Zurich and London. He expanded his professional experience in the corporate legal departments of two internationally operating, listed companies, where he worked for several years as senior legal counsel.

Simon Lang regularly advises clients in the areas of corporate law and transactions, corporate governance and compliance, commercial and business law as well as insolvency and reorganization law.

He completed his doctorate at the interface of corporate and restructuring law at the University of Zurich on the topic of “The prospect of restructuring”.

In addition to his work as a lawyer, Simon Lang co-founded two start-ups and has served as an investigating judge for the Swiss military justice.
